Product Description
This product is a core emerging markets equity portfolio and is designed for aggressive investors who seek long term capital appreciation; moreover, its disciplined investment process has never experienced a style drift since inception. This strategy offers investors emerging market exposure and invests through the use of ordinaries, sponsored and unsponsored foreign listed securities and American Depository Receipts (ADRs).
The investment process is a disciplined, bottom-up screening system designed to identify and select inefficiently priced stocks with superior return versus risk characteristics. This is combined with quarterly, top-down country rebalancing through which the HJIM management team over weights highly ranked countries and under weights lower ranked countries according to our proprietary system. Each company is reviewed both qualitatively and quantitatively before inclusion in the portfolio. Typically, the portfolio invests in 50 to 70 companies that pass our disciplined fundamental and quantitative criteria.
The primary performance benchmark is the MSCI-Emerging Markets Index.
